the aural playground ... ... tries to collect, arrange and present all the basic information on bands and projects that represent a new (?) approach in music borderlining on the edge between Rock and Electronica. Each entry contains a short introduction into the history and the sound of the project, as well as a discography and further links. Every once in a while apg will have a featurette on a band that we feel deserves more attention that they have.

This website was designed, compiled and is maintained by Sebastian Herrfurth. This is a fan project, so don't blame any of the bands or labels mentioned here for anything. Mail me for corrections, additions or questions. Thanks to anybody who supported me doing this discographies: All the artists - it's your work that got me moving, and special thanks once again to Christian Kramer (who kicks my lazy ass every once in a while ;-)
